The Chairman of DAAR Communications Limited, High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, has been reportedly by the Police in the United Kingdom. Dokpesi was said to have been arrested on Sunday while travelling to the United Kingdom. Guyana’s Government said Thursday it has asked world police agency Interpol to help it investigate the background of a Nigerian national who earlier in the day tried to illegally enter the residence of President Irfaan Ali and ended up trading gunfire with guards, wounding one seriously. The First Lady, Aisha Buhari, has withdrawn the case against a final year student of the Federal University, Dutse, Jigawa State, Aminu Mohammed.
