A member of the All Progressive Congress Party, APC and Vice Chairman, National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, Samuel Kayode, popularly known as Ekpo Kinkin, has been shot dead at Agboju area of Lagos. $130,000 fraud rocks Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria

IMF: Naira overvalued at official market

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has said the naira was overvalued by 18.5 per cent at the official market. The Fund called on the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to establish a more transparent and market-based exchange rate policy to instil confidence in the market.
