A member of the All Progressive Congress Party, APC and Vice Chairman, National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, Samuel Kayode, popularly known as Ekpo Kinkin, has been shot dead at Agboju area of Lagos. The deceased had attended the flag off of the party’s local government campaign at Oriade Local Development Area, Thursday evening. Twitter ban: Buhari’s move to Indian app, Koo, attracts more Hausa/Fulani muslims

$130,000 fraud rocks Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria

While insurance operators are eagerly soliciting premium from the public in the midst of a struggling economy, Nigeria’s foremost insurance institute, Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN), is currently enmeshed in an alleged fraud involving nothing less than $130,000 (about N60 million) in the country’s currency.
